Due to the perishable nature
of our chocolate and candy, we take special care to ensure delivery in perfect
condition. If the temperature in our area or yours is above 70F, we only allow
shipping using expedited methods (2 Day Air and UPS Next Day Air) and
each box is packed with special insulation and gel ice. There's $5 charge
added to the shipping fee to cover for the cost of the added insulation and
gel ice. During the summer months, to prevent chocolates and candy from
sitting on a truck over a weekend we only ship chocolates and candy Monday,
Tuesday and Wednesday.
Question: Hello. I am wondering if these almonds, or your slivered almonds, are processed in a facility that processes gluten, dairy, soy, or peanuts. Some other products list that they are processed in a facility that processes one or more of these, but these almond products don't indicate that. Also, what process do you use for blanching and skinning the almonds? Thank you for your time.
Answer: All our products are processed in a facility that processes peanuts, tree nuts, soy, milk and wheat products. Our products may contain peanuts, tree nuts, soy, milk and wheat. Steam is used in the blanching process of Almonds.
