One ounce of pistachios (about 49 kernels) is an excellent source critical vitamins and minerals, particularly copper, manganese, vitamin B6, thiamin, and phosphorus. Like all nuts, pistachios are rich in fiber, are a great source of protein, are cholesterol-free, and are chock full of monounsaturated fats. However, unlike other nuts pistachios contain significant amounts of the carotenoids, lutein and zeaxanthin. Carotenoids are a special type of antioxidant linked to color, and associated with reducing the risk of age-related macular degeneration, one of the most common causes of irreversible blindness in older adults.

Due to the perishable nature
of our chocolate and candy, we take special care to ensure delivery in perfect
condition. If the temperature in our area or yours is above 70F, we only allow
shipping using expedited methods (UPS 2nd Day Air and UPS Next Day Air) and
each box is packed with special insulation and gel ice. There's $5 charge
added to the shipping fee to cover for the cost of the added insulation and
gel ice. During the summer months, to prevent chocolates and candy from
sitting on a truck over a weekend we only ship chocolates and candy Monday,
Tuesday and Wednesday.

We grew up in the 60's-70's. In Christmas time my uncle would bring over a 5lb. bag of pistachios. It got to the point where we would save money to buy our own bag of pistashios. Then all of a sudden they were gone and that taste was gone. I knew these pistachios came from Iran. At my age I did not equate the fall of the Shah, with my prefered nuts. Not until purchasing these Antep did find a taste as close to those pistachios of my youth,
