Raw Pepitas / No Shell Pumpkin Seeds

Raw Pepitas are fresh and tasty will be buying more when my supply runs low.

Seeds are fresh and a pretty green color. I have been eating them since my daughter began doing research on something organic for worms in her dogs. She put them in a blender and sprinkled them on the dog's food and within 5 days, all the worms were gone. Following further research, she discovered they were good for renal health. I had been diagnosed with renal failure and have only one kidney that works and the other only working at approximately 20%. After snacking on the pumpkin seeds for about a month, my last lab results showed my kidney working at 74%. My Nephrologist could not believe the improvement and asked what I was doing to show such good results. When we said "eating pumpkin seeds" he was astounded. His reply was, "be quiet, you are ruining my business". I have been giving everybody that has renal issues some of the seeds and telling them how they can order them fresh. Health food stores have them but they don't look as pretty and green and fresh as these are. I keep a small dish of them out and snack on them during the day. The rest are in the freezer for fresh keeping. Can't praise them enough.

I had never had raw pumpkin seeds so I am not sure how to rate the quality. A few of the seeds had a bitter aftertaste but I didn't die. So now, I glean through the seeds to spot any broken, orange or discolored seeds. This has vastly improved the eating experience. Most of the seeds are good, so spotting the few bad ones can be a challenge. My estimate is that maybe 1 out of 30 seeds gets weeded out. I mix in a few raw sunflower seeds to give it a fuller flavor. For the price and prompt shipping, I am very pleased!

I am a top reviewer on Amazon, where I have reviewed the 14oz bag of raw pepitas (the only quantity currently listed on Amazon), though I myself bought the 10 lb bag of raw pepitas directly from Superior Nut.

I am very pleased with the quality of this product and the efficiency of Superior Nut in delivering it. I've ordered the raw pepitas several times from superior this past year. was very excited when a shop opened right here in town that carries bulk grains, seeds, nuts etc. BUT even though the owners have become friends of mine, i found myself ordering pepitas from superior nut store again. the quality is hard to beat. Extremely fast shipping too!

We both like pepitas on salad, so we consume quite a few, over time. This product arrived promptly and was packed to be convenient for keeping in our freezer and taking out small quantites for day to day use. We love the product and will certainly be back for more when these are getting low.

Good quality

The Superior raw no shell pumpkin seeds arrived on time and very well packed. These pumpkin seeds (pepitas) are the best we have found, larger and more flavorful than local varieties. Superior lives up to it's names with great service and high quality products.
