University of Texas researchers found that the nutrients in walnuts may cut delay or lessen the severity of neurodegenerative diseases of aging such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s. Want more? The Lipid Clinic in Spain found that walnut’s polyunsaturated fats may protect arteries from the harm associated with a meal high in saturated fat, a benefit that unmatched by olive oil. The Food and Drug Administration weighed in by stating that eating 1.5 oz of walnuts daily may reduce the risk of heart disease.

HOT WEATHER SHIPPING
Due to the perishable nature
of our chocolate and candy, we take special care to ensure delivery in perfect
condition. If the temperature in our area or yours is above 70F, we only allow
shipping using expedited methods (UPS 2nd Day Air and UPS Next Day Air) and
each box is packed with special insulation and gel ice. There's $5 charge
added to the shipping fee to cover for the cost of the added insulation and
gel ice. During the summer months, to prevent chocolates and candy from
sitting on a truck over a weekend we only ship chocolates and candy Monday,
Tuesday and Wednesday.
Question: Are these walnut English or Black?
Answer: These are English Walnuts. We do also offer Black Walnuts.
Question: How are the pieces shipped? Could they be put in 2lb. bags? we will need the 25lb amount.
Answer: The 1 pound size are shipped in 1 pound bags. We do also sell a 4 pound, a 10 pound and a 25 pound package. We do not pack the Walnuts in 2 pound bags.
